Larry Fuhs, interior designer, has always been fascinated with the integration of different materials to create art. As a child, he was constantly on his father's heels watching as the man took broken items apart, fixed them, and brought them back to life, Ultimately, this became the inspiration for his design future as a creator and to understand material functionality as it pertains to quality design.
His current venture, ELLEFF® STUDIO, brings life to commercial upholstery in a similar yet unique fashion. Each of his artistically handcrafted handbags displays beauty through elegant detailing. The overall construction incorporates quality materials, alongside handsome structure, leading to a perfection in practicality. Each result is a simply stated, beautifully designed product that is both exquisite and durable.
Born in 1963 in Jasper, Larry has lived in Indiana his entire life after making Indianapolis his home in 1989. He draws from a successful career as a commercial interior designer, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University, to bring his fresh perspective with pattern and color to his art. The artist creates daily in his studio, situated in an area developed in the early 1900's with continued inspiration viewable in all directions from the building's windows.
